Seshadripuram Educational Trust (SET), a Public Charitable Trust, was established in the year 1980. The parent body, Seshadripuram Educational Association (SEA), was registered in 1944.

"A great journey begins with a small step."

Proving this statement true, it all began in 1930 when two women educational enthusiasts, Smt. Anandamma and Smt. Seethamma, took up a noble initiative. In the erstwhile posh locality of Seshadripuram, they started a primary school which functioned in a Mangalore-tiled, two-room building with just 20 children.

That humble beginning has today grown into an integral part of the main campus of Seshadripuram College. It can be proudly stated that the Seshadripuram Group of Institutions was originally founded as a start-up initiative by these two visionary women entrepreneurs. The rest is history.

Located in the heart of the Garden City, Bengaluru, the Seshadripuram Educational Trust today runs 34 educational institutions ranging from Kindergarten to Ph.D. programmes. These include schools, pre-university colleges, degree colleges, postgraduate institutions, a global academy, a law college, and research centres.

Over the years, the institution has earned a reputation as one of the leading educational establishments in Karnataka. With multiple campuses across prime locations and collaborations with universities overseas, the Trust continues to expand its academic reach and excellence.
